Since entering Motherhood myself, I have made it my mission to get other Mums in front of my lens so they have their motherhood captured and those moments now frozen forever to keep. We all know motherhood is a wild ride, a blur at times and I want you in the frame with your little humans so you can look back and remember every age. Those precious milestones we use to only wonder about. Pregnancy, those first few weeks soaking in that newborn bubble, those 6 month milestones and every year after. Let’s create memories while you’re all under one roof.

My Approach

Hi, I'm Caitlin! I offer a super relaxed experience. I will gently guide you the whole way, offering prompts and direction so you know exactly what to do.Your family session can look however you want it to. An afternoon at the beach, an in-home session having morning tea and playing in the backyard. I want to capture the things you want to remember the most. Family sessions are all about connection. Spending this one uninterrupted hour with the whole family. It's pretty special to have all your favourite people in the frame.

WHAT TO EXPECT

Experience the most out of our extended family session together.

If you're lucky enough to have more than one generation in your life, I think you should capture it! Get the whole family together and use this opportunity to update your own family photos as well as getting some long awaited photos of the kids and the grandparents together.

These photos are going to create memories for generations to come. I wish I had photos with my Grandparents to look back on, so if you've got the chance, I would love to capture these for you!

I can also create a physical or a digital gift voucher for you if you want to celebrate a special birthday or anniversary.

THE PROCESS

Our Session Flow

Book in a session date.Sign and return some t’s and c’s and pay your deposit.

BOOK

I will send you a short questionnaire to get to know you and your family a bit better and understand what is really important to you to capture.

PREPARE

I will send you a reminder email one week before our session and a text on the day to say I can’t wait for our session together.

SHOOT

You will receive your edited proof gallery 3 weeks after our shoot date. You will be able to select your favourites or upgrade to the full gallery if you wish.

DELIVER

Don’t leave your photos as digital files. There is a print store connected to your final gallery so you can enjoy them as physical copies, hold them in your hands and hang them on the walls of your home.

FAQ's

Q: What counts as extended family?

A: Any one additional to your immediate family that you live under one roof with. This could include Grandparents, Aunties and Uncles or perhaps you want to include your sister/brother in law and their side. It's a chance to get the whole family together and get everyone in the frame.

Q: I would like photos of everyone but I would also like a few shots on my immediate family, can we do this?

A: Absolutely! Extended family sessions are the best of both worlds. I will work through all the different combinations of people you would like captured and once we have those we aim to get some beautiful candid shots of everyone too.

Q: Where is the best place for extended family sessions?

A: Where ever you feel the pull to have them. I have a location guide I send through with a list of outdoor locations and studios I know like the back of my hand. You are welcome to choose from one of these or perhaps your Grandma's house holds a special place in your heart.

Q: What do we wear?

A: My extended family session guide houses some really great info on how to co-ordinate a larger group of people. I will be in touch to share inspo and colours that I think will work best.
